We Have A Law

Jesus had been dealing with the woman at the well; that’s where He’s been, and He is about to interact with the whole city of Sychar; this is where He’s headed. During that brief interlude of time between, He needs to give the disciples an important lesson to prepare them for what is coming next.

What a wonderfully rich word the Holy Spirit chose when He guided David to pen the single word, desolate. Amazingly, it reveals to me many facets of my lovely Lord Jesus.

So here I sat, under the acacia trees, thoughts swirling in my head, and tears trickling down my cheeks, as I poured all these questions out to my Lord. He was not remiss to speedily answer, as through the swirling thoughts, a scripture verse quietly came to my mind, nudging me toward my solution . . .
